According to current research, the first published Swiss listing game was programmed by 15-year-old Ralph Cronimund. He wrote his action game, Jagdszene Chicago (1985) (Hunting scene Chicago), for the Texas Instruments TI-99 computer. It was published six months later, in May/June 1985, in an article on pages 57–62 of the magazine Computronic.

The game and the write-up in Computronic were in German: «Der gefürchtetste Ausbrecher Chicagos, Dale Dieb, ist aus dem Gefängnis ausgebrochen. Sie als Kommissar Capture, haben nun die Aufgabe, diesen Bösewicht zu fangen.» (“Chicago's most feared fugitive, Dale Thief, has escaped from prison. As Inspector Capture, it's now your job to catch this villain.” The magazine features the game with a one-page description and a cartoon, which is followed by 4,5 pages of code as a listing.

Ralph Cronimund received a letter from A. Marti, a member of the TI Home Computer Club in Oberrohrdorf, Aargau, asking him to contribute his interesting program to their Club magazine.

Computronic writes about the narrative sequences of the game: «Bei Spielbeginn ist das grüne Männchen der Dieb. Ist es dem blauen Männchen, dem Polizisten, gelungen, den Dieb zu fangen, wechseln die Rollen. […] Der Polizist hat natürlich einen Vorteil. Er kann durch jene Wände hindurchschlüpfen, die hellblau gefärbt sind. Ist das Spiel beendet, werden die Punktergebnisse, der Gewinner und der High-Score aufgelistet.» ("At the start of the game, the green figure is the thief. If the blue figure, the police officer, manages to catch the thief, the roles are reversed. […] The policeman, of course, has an advantage. He can slip through the walls that are light blue. When the game ends, the scores, the winner, and the high score are listed."
