World Wide Hunting

The game Worldwide Hunting focuses on shooting-based hunting scenarios involving animals. Across several disciplines, players were required to demonstrate their speed and accuracy in aiming. The gameplay was comparable to that of Championship Shooting or Sport, which utilized the Golem Lightgun. This device was a pistol-shaped controller connected to the Amiga’s joystick port, allowing players to aim directly at and shoot targets displayed on the Amiga screen. Worldwide Hunting was sold as part of the retail Golem light gun package.

Your hunting task is to shoot the over-populated animals but save the rare ones. Four rows of animals can be on the screen at the same time, making precise targeting difficult.

Sales figures remained limited, partly due to the relatively high price of the light gun. Today, there are no longer any retailers offering this device. Furthermore, because the light gun functions only with CRT monitors, its commercial distribution is no longer practical.

(Source: http://retrobu.de/doku.php/kupke_computertechnik_golem_light_gun)
