Ball Raider

Ball Raider is a Breakout-style game with a sci-fi setting that was released for the Commodore Amiga in 1987. The game was programmed by Heinz Lüem and features artwork by Roland Petermann.

The player has to remove all the bricks at the top of the screen with a ball by moving the paddle at the bottom of the screen. Set in the distant year 2844, the player must win all 25 levels to become a member of the Warrior Guild.

Ball Raider's beautiful sci-fi backgrounds were praised in many reviews, while the gameplay was often described as "just another Arkanoid/Breakout clone".
